Explore the milestones that have shaped our journey. 1974 Whit Jones, Ph.D., then the only clinical psychologist in Caldwell, Idaho, recognized a growing need for dedicated mental health support in the region—particularly for employees and workplace settings. His vision for accessible, person-centered care laid the foundation for what would become a pioneering organization in Idaho’s behavioral health landscape. Who We Serve 1983 Building on Dr. Jones’ early work, Business Psychology Associates—later known as BPA Health—was officially founded. As Idaho’s first psychological care organization, BPA Health brought together local clinicians to offer innovative behavioral health solutions and became a trusted partner in mental health care for organizations and individuals alike. Community Behavioral Health 1993 In recognition of rapid growth and impact, BPA Health was named one of the Top 500 Fastest-Growing Private Companies in the U.S. by Inc. Magazine. This milestone underscored the organization’s agility, entrepreneurial spirit, and growing role in addressing behavioral health needs on a larger scale. What We Offer 1998 BPA Health began managing services for the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare’s Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Program—a role it would maintain for over two decades. This long-standing partnership exemplified BPA Health’s commitment to supporting vulnerable populations with evidence-based, coordinated care across the state. Substance Use Disorder Support 2008 For the second time, Inc. Magazine recognized BPA Health as one of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies—this time among the Top 5,000. The honor reflected continued expansion, innovation in service delivery, and a growing provider network focused on whole-person care. Explore our providers 2021 BPA Health launched its School Well-Being Programs, expanding access to counseling, crisis response, and mental health resources for K-12 and post-secondary students and their families. This program strengthened Idaho’s educational communities by promoting resilience, emotional well-being, and support for youth and school staff.
