Before you apply to receive respite care vouchers through the Idaho Respite Care Program, you will need the following for us to authorize your child:
- Comprehensive Diagnostic Assessment (CDA) with Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths (CANS)- The CDA with CANs is scheduled with Liberty Healthcare at 1-877-456-1233. These documents help us verify that your child has been identified as having a serious emotional disorder (SED).
If you are unable to get the documents required due to backlog or other legitimate reasons, you may apply for an “Interim Voucher.” This will allow you to begin services for the first six month period. In order to be reauthorized for the next six month period, the documents listed must be provided.
