No. The only eligibility requirement is that you have a student enrolled in a participating district. BPA Health does not collect your income or health insurance information. Does the school counselor provide the services? No. In accordance with your preferences, your Service Navigator will connect you with one of the licensed mental health professionals in the BPA Health provider network. What information does the school receive if I use these services? All services are confidential. The school only gets a general count of the number of people using the services, but they do not get any identifying information on who accesses service. Are these services only available during the school year? The benefits are available year-round, not just during the school year. Does my child need to be in counseling for me or their siblings to access benefits? No. Any eligible family member may access benefits, even if the student doesn’t. How long are the wait times? We guarantee a virtual appointment with a licensed therapist within 48 hours for anyone 13 years and older. In-person and virtual sessions are also available to youth 12 and younger. Wait times vary depending on the provider you select with assistance from our team.
